Ref: 2 1146 Your New Job Title: Marketing Manager The Skills You’ll Need: Extensive Marketing experience in Food / FMCG industry in the UK and Team Management experience, with spoken and written English to native level Salary: up to 70k depending on experience benefits Report to: Managing Director Job status: Permanent Location: East London Summary: The role is accountable for leading the current Marketing team (Europe channel) as the function head to plan and implement marketing initiatives to drive demand, while building strong brand equity, consumer preference and loyalty, to sustainably grow the business, sales, and market shares in all major categories and trade channels. Your Key Responsibilities: Annual marketing and strategic planning – management of the planning process, devise strategies, action plans, and annual marketing budget planning. Championing creative marketing initiatives and campaigns for key countries in Europe. Crafting effective digital, social, and other media strategies catered for key countries’ business needs and to maximize target consumers reach and engagement.
Ensure, carry through, monitor programmes implementation effectiveness. Brand and portfolio management for driving both short term and long term growth and category development roadmaps. Budget planning and management to ensure effective and efficient use of resources. Manage and groom agencies partnerships so as to ensure strong support of and quality work for the brand’s healthy growth and brand leadership.
Consumer insights management, analysis, market intelligence, competitors’ information management, retail audit & research analysis and insights. Oversee consumers/trade events organization to ensure quality executions. Devise annual P. R.
strategies, planning and ensure quality executions to maximize quality brand exposure in both food and mass media reaching out effectively to target consumers and trade. Brand guardian of the company in Europe for best representation. The Skills You’ll Need to Succeed: Education & Experience: – University degree level or equivalent, Business or Marketing degree an advantage. Strong background in UK/Europe FOOD/FMCG sector, an advantage if with both B2C and B2B experience.
Solid team management experience. Requirements & Skills: – Excellent English to native level (spoken and written) is a must; ability to speak another European language or Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) would be a definite advantage. Preferrably a Chinese food lover, keen cook, with good knowledge of food and kitchens. Good business acumen and sense.
Intelligent with potential to grow with the company. Excellent planning and organization skills, strong strategic thinking, analytical. Good leadership and team management skills. Able to manage a multi-cultural team mix.
Strong problem solving, communication, and reports writing skills. Excellent interpersonal and people skills, sociable and compassionate. Highly motivated and self-driven, open-minded with creative/innovative thinking. Of Europe work experience background.
