Position Overview The IT Help Desk Technician will work as a standalone role to provide a positive customer support experience to the business and Retail stores. The IT Technician support position will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software
* Address and resolve incidents and requests via ticketing system and help answer the Retail Help Desk hotline providing first contact support.
* Serve as liaison between employees and functional team members to resolve issues.
* Provide assistance for store computer setups including POS, printers, mobile devices, and store related peripherals.
* Analyses and resolves issues regarding the use of store hardware and software providing technical support.
* Support of computer peripherals, printers, and multi-function devices.
* Basic troubleshooting of computer networking, VoIP phones, and wireless technology.
* Keep IT Department’s documentation current and update where necessary.
*Provide assistance to facilitate business reports from retail system as well as warehouse management system *Can understand IT vendors services thoroughly and find out cost saving opportunity *IT budget detail involvement
