Your responsibilities

  • Increase revenue through meeting the sales targets.
  • Building a strong network of business relationships with prospects.
  • Expert in the application of our solutions to industry use cases and our development plans.
  • Responds to sales enquiries from prospects and confidently demonstrates all Lhasa solutions.
  • Support the organisation of scientific workshops, participate in exhibitions, conferences, user group meetings and other such events
  • Obtains feedback after evaluation to support the development of our solutions and improve our service delivery
  • Visible external presence demonstrating and applying our solutions, e.g. videos on website, FAQs
  • Identify data sharing opportunities (e.g. data donation, joint publications on the application of our solutions).
  • Works closely with Marketing to act on demand, support lead generation activities and awareness of new opportunities and competitive threats.

Your skills and experience


  • Educated to a degree level in Chemistry or a related life science
  • Experience of building relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experienced scientific communicator who is able to explain complex scientific concepts to others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to travel extensively
  • Knowledge of toxicology, metabolism, degradation, and organic reaction mechanisms
  • Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently without close supervision
  • Acts as a role model within the Business Development Team and champions Lhasa values


  • Experience in developing business that leads to increased revenue
  • Experience in mentoring colleagues
  • Skilled negotiator
