A fantastic opportunity for a Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant with a background as an assistant finance manager or financial accountant and experience of UK accounting standards (UK GAAP) The company will sponsor the successful candidate. Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant (Mandarin or Cantonese speaking) · Supervise management accountant and statutory reporting for European entity.
· Oversee Accounts Payable & accounts Receivable functions as well as cashflow & intercompany transactions. · Support the Finance and Accounting team with budgeting. · Collaborate with Headquarters and local teams and inform of changes in accounting, taxation or industrial practices. · Preparation of month and year end closing and statutory reports for relevant parties · Prepare financial analysis and identify opportunities for profitability.
· Coordinate Tax compliance and annual auditing processes. Financial Accountant with Mandarin or Cantonese – profile: · Mandarin or Cantonese language skills (spoken and written) · Excellent level of English · Part Qualified Accountant with a degree in accounting related disciplines · Solid experience as an Assistant Finance Manager, Financial accountant or Assistant accountant · Analytical mindset, strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail · Highly organised and deadline oriented. · Reliable team player with the ability to take initiative. This is a superb opportunity for a Mandarin or Cantonese speaker with experience working as an accountant or assistant finance manager and knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulation.
