Are you looking for a role oversees. Our client, a large Global Law Firm, seek a Finance Manager for their Hong Kong Office. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead the local finance team to provide on ground support for all practice groups and business functions. You will Manage and be fully accountable for finance, including (but not limited to); matter management, credit control, financial reporting, AP, payroll, tax filing, banking, treasury and cash management.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience managing a finance team working directly with senior management ideally gained in a Professional firm such as a Law Firm, Accountancy or Consultancy. This is an excellent career move for those who have solid Excel and PowerPoint skills who want an inclusive, challenging role where they can influence decisions and push for change and identify potential commercial issues. The candidate must be Fluent in English with strong verbal and writing skills. Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be advantageous but not essential The role has a great salary, discretionary bonus, excellent benefits and offers a full relocation package.

Overview of role The role is to guide and drive the financial management of the Hong Kong office to achieve healthy financial hygiene ensuring effective internal controls and business efficiency. Supervision of the statutory compliance in HK office and ensure the integrity of financial information. Managing a team of 5 Advisors and 2 Assistants based in Hong Kong. The finance function is also supported by two shared service centres based in Warsaw and Singapore.

Success derives from being able to influence the development and implementation of all financial aspects of strategy, planning, financial management, business management, business development and people development. The role is to lead the local finance team and to work closely with Greater China finance team, regional finance team, other business functions and senior management in the office on all finance related area.
