Your New Salary : to 60k depending on experience Location : Central London Report To: Branch manager/Deputy Manager What You’ll be Doing Each Day: MLRO function: Work with Group Compliance and Compliance functions to develop robust working practices (and shared activities) to identify and mitigate regulatory risks Head up and manage KYC & Transaction monitoring procedures Responsible for devising and implementing branch risk-based AML strategies Ensure all internal SARs reports are investigated and passed on to relevant authorities if needed Compliance function: Ensure team and all staff comply with relevant policies and procedures. Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations. To develop, assess, initiate, maintain and revise policies, guidelines and procedures to be in compliance with relevant Banking Regulations.
To keep other departments abreast of relevant Banking Regulations. Provide training to all staff on the latest regulations and processes. Provide guidance/training on regulatory AML/CTF risk assessments on customers to the relevant staff. Responsible for reports (Monthly AML Dashboard Reporting, Monthly Legal and Compliance Report, Anti-Money Laundering Quarterly Transactions Report) The Skills You’ll Need to Succeed: Bachelor’s degree or a related field Compliance/AML qualification, or relevant professional body accreditation Money Laundering Reporting and Compliance experience related experience in banking Ideally already an approved SMF17, or a candidate with a proven career likely to be approved by the Regulator Knowledge of FCA, AML laws and regulation/ FATF Recommendations of Central Bank of UK Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills (native speaker level in Cantonese) Fluent in risk management and our industry’s principle Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures Job status : Permanent Start date : ASAP Please view all our Chinese jobs at www.
